Build Your Own Truck Lumber Rack

I made this truck rack for myself because im building my deck and i had to transport 16 lumber and the hardware store was charging 60 per delivery so as a diyer i decided that for four 2x4s and couples screws i could build myself a rack.

Drill the holes necessary to assemble the truck rack. Use 3 inch wood screws to attach this support to the posts. Lay the ladder rack pieces out so they are easy to assemble in the order you need them. Measure the pieces of metal or wood for your ladder rack.

Install the rack in the bed of your truck using metal anchor bolts. This board adds strength and support. Hi everyone first thanks for watching my project. Then cut another 2 by 4 board to the width of the truck bed and lay it between the vertical rack posts.

The one thing you will need is exposed framing on the inside of the wall like in the pictures. Whether it s carrying wood a ladder a kayak or canoe or any long piece this wooden rack is the best. There are no complicated measurements or extensive cut lists.
